Corporate relocation Wrocław
Wrocław has attracted hundreds of shared services centres, branches of technology companies and regional headquarters of large groups. When an organisation like that changes campus, merges two office buildings into one or gives up a floor, a van and a few movers are not enough. We run corporate relocation in Wrocław as a project: with a defined scope, a schedule, clear responsibilities on both sides and progress reports.
How a corporate move differs from a standard one
| Area | Small business | Corporate organisation |
|---|---|---|
| Scale | one floor, a dozen or so workstations | several floors or buildings, hundreds of workstations |
| Decisions | owner or office manager | facilities, procurement, IT and security departments |
| Choosing a contractor | a conversation and a quote | request for proposal, document verification |
| Lead time | one weekend | several stages spread over weeks |
| Building requirements | lift booking | building regulations, passes, work notifications |
| Invoicing | a single invoice | invoices by stage or cost centre |
How we run the project
Analysis
A site visit to your current and new premises, an inventory of equipment and an assessment of the transport routes in both buildings.
Stage plan
A breakdown by department and floor, with the order of the move agreed around team continuity and lift availability.
Coordination
One project manager on our side, in constant contact with building management and the client's IT department.
Close-out
Handover of the floors, a snagging list, removal of surplus equipment and invoicing in line with the contract.
Documents for the procurement department
In tender procedures, we quickly provide what procurement departments usually ask for: company registration details, confirmation of our carrier's liability insurance with a sum insured of PLN 500,000, information about our fleet of eleven vehicles of our own and our FEDEMAC membership. Every job is based on a contract, and invoicing on a VAT invoice – split into stages if required.
Equipment that needs special care
- Server racks and network equipment – once disconnected by the client's IT department.
- Archives covered by trade secrecy – in locked containers, with a handover report.
- Equipment from laboratories, workshops and recording studios.
- Interior design elements: plants, acoustic panels, designer furniture.
Relocations beyond Wrocław
Corporate moves rarely stop at one city. From the same base, we move departments to other branches in Poland, and thanks to our regular trips to Germany and the Czech Republic and our warehouse in Frankfurt am Main, we also relocate teams to group companies in those countries. For destinations outside Europę, we arrange container transport together with partners from the FEDEMAC network. You will find details of destinations abroad on our international moving page, and we cover smaller offices under office relocation.
Corporate relocation – questions
Do you take part in requests for proposal?
Yes. After a site visit, we prepare an offer in line with the buyer's form and attach the required documents.
Can we have one contact person for the whole project?
Yes – we appoint a project manager who knows the schedule, agrees the details with building management and is responsible for how each stage goes.
How do you secure confidential documents?
We transport them in locked containers and confirm the handover with a signed report. At the client's request, the containers are sealed by one of their own employees.
Can the work be done at night?
Yes, if the building regulations allow it. We usually combine evening and weekend work, so it doesn't clash with the working day.
Do you invoice in stages?
Yes, if the contract provides for it. We can also issue invoices to different cost centres or group companies.
