A flat needs clearing in a number of situations, and none of them is ordinary. An owner puts the property up for sale, a tenant has moved out and left furniture behind, a family is sorting out the flat of a loved one. For us, flat clearance in Wrocław is work where care matters more than speed: first we establish what stays, what goes to the family and what has to be disposed of, and only then do we start carrying things out.
The most common situations
Before a sale or renovation
The property needs to be empty for a photo shoot, buyer viewings or the renovation crew. Often only the fitted kitchen and light fittings stay.
After a tenant
The tenant has left and abandoned old furniture, appliances and bags of belongings. The owner wants to get the flat ready for the next person quickly.
After a loved one
The family lives far away or doesn't have the strength to sort things out. We work calmly, setting aside documents, photos and keepsakes to be looked through.
Sorting into three groups
Before anything leaves the flat, we agree with you how things will be divided. It's best if, before we arrive, you mark items to keep with coloured sticky notes or take them yourself. If you can't be there, we agree the rules by phone and set aside anything we are unsure about.

Documents and personal belongings
Drawers and top cupboards often hold things that can't be replaced: notarial deeds, savings books, photos, letters. When clearing the flat of a loved one, we don't throw papers away without looking through them – we put them in a separate box for the family. We do the same with keys, jewellery and cash found in furniture.
Where items for disposal go
Dumping a sofa bed by the bin store outside the collection schedule isn't disposal – it's a problem for the residents' association. Bulky waste, used electrical and electronic equipment, tyres and leftover paint have set routes: municipal recycling centres (PSZOK), collection points for used equipment and processing plants. The rules for accepting waste at PSZOK centres apply mainly to residents of the municipality and can change, so we agree the disposal method when quoting, depending on the type and amount of items.
How the clearance works

- Agreeing how things will be divided and the date, and if the owner can't be there – handing over the keys.

Do I have to be present during the clearance?
No. We carry out many jobs based on arrangements made by phone and keys handed over. In that case, anything we are unsure about is set aside for you to decide.
How long does clearing a flat take?
It depends on the size, the amount of belongings and the floor. We usually complete a typical flat in a block in one day; a very cluttered property or a flat with a cellar may take longer.
Do you take household appliances?
Yes. Used electrical equipment can't go in ordinary rubbish, so we take it to a point that is authorised to accept it.
Will you clean up after the clearance?
We sweep up and leave the property empty. For a deep clean or window washing, it's worth hiring a specialist company.
Will I get an invoice for the flat clearance?
Yes, every job is documented with a VAT invoice – useful, for example, when settling an inheritance or letting costs.
