Moving in Świdnica

The old town is dominated by tenement buildings with high ceilings and wooden staircases. The market square and adjoining streets are partly closed to traffic, so we park the vehicle wherever the regulations allow and carry the furniture the rest of the way. Working on the Zawiszów estate and other prefabricated estates is completely different – here the problem is more likely to be the tenth floor and a lift that a wardrobe won't fit into in one piece. On the outskirts and in the surrounding municipalities, more and more detached houses are being built, and towards Jedlina and Bystrzyca Gorna the foothills of the Wałbrzych and Owl Mountains begin.
