Moving in Rzeszów

Rzeszów and Wrocław are linked by a single road – the A4 motorway, from junction to junction. This makes Rzeszów–Wrocław moves more convenient than the distance suggests. 4RELO moves flats and houses in both directions, and also handles moves from Rzeszów to other parts of the country and to Western Europe.

420 kilometres on a single motorway

From Wrocław to Rzeszów is about 420 km, and we cover almost the whole route on the A4 – via Opole, Katowice, Kraków and Tarnów. The drive usually takes 4–4.5 hours, but the Kraków ring road and the section through Katowice can be congested at rush hour. That is why, on this route, we set the departure time so that we pass Kraków before the afternoon traffic. We usually spread a move of a larger flat over two days: loading in the afternoon, unloading from the morning.

A fast-growing city

Rzeszów has grown a great deal in recent years – it has incorporated surrounding villages and is building new estates in Budziwój, Przybyszówka, Załęże and Słocina. For a moving crew, this means two things. Firstly, the new buildings have lifts and underground car parks, but also narrow estate roads where it is hard to park a lorry. Secondly, some addresses are so new that sat navs don't know them yet, so we ask for a location pin. Baranówka, Nowe Miasto and Pobitno are dominated by older blocks, often with no lift.

New developer estates

We book the lift with the building manager and check the height of the car park entrance before deciding which vehicle to bring.

Older blocks

For four floors with no lift, we add an extra person to the crew so the carrying doesn't make the working day longer.

Houses in neighbouring municipalities

Trzebownisko, Tyczyn, Boguchwała, Świlcza – large properties, full garages and often garden furniture to move.

Student flats

We combine small loads at the end of the academic year with other runs on this route, which lowers the cost.

Who we move most often

Rzeszów attracts aerospace engineers – the Aviation Valley plants recruit people from all over Poland, including Wrocław. Meanwhile, graduates of the Rzeszów University of Technology and the University of Rzeszów often leave to work in the west of the country. We also serve families moving from the Subcarpathian region to Germany – we travel to Germany regularly, and belongings can wait in our warehouse in Frankfurt am Main. Find out more on our international moving page.

When relocating an employee of a large company, the date of their first day at work is what matters. We then set two dates: collection of belongings in Wrocław and delivery in Rzeszów, and if the company flat isn't ready yet, the furniture waits in our warehouse.

Contract, invoice, insurance

We confirm every move with a contract and a VAT invoice. Goods in transit are protected by liability insurance of up to PLN 500,000, and as a member of FEDEMAC, we work to the standards of European moving companies. You can calculate the volume of your load with our volume calculator.

Rzeszów – what to know before your move

How many days does a move from Wrocław to Rzeszów take?

We can move a studio or small flat in one day. For larger properties, we plan two days so that unloading doesn't happen at night.

I live on a new estate that isn't on sat nav yet. What should I do?

Send us a map location and a photo of the entrance. Based on these, we will choose the vehicle and a parking spot.

Do you cover Łańcut, Strzyżów and Ropczyce?

Yes, all towns and villages around Rzeszów, including along the A4 towards Jarosław.

Can I move just a few items?

Yes. We combine smaller loads with runs to Kraków and the Subcarpathian region, so the date may be less flexible, but the price is lower.

Can you invoice the company covering the cost of an employee's relocation?

Yes, we can issue the VAT invoice to the employer.
