Moving to Frankfurt am Main

Frankfurt am Main is the only city abroad where 4RELO has its own warehouse. So moving to Frankfurt am Main does not end with the lorry arriving from Wrocław – on the German side we have a base from which we serve the whole Rhine-Main region. That gives you flexibility that is missing when moving to cities where the carrier has nothing but the delivery address.

Belongings brought from Poland can wait in the warehouse and go to your flat exactly when you collect your keys – even if that changes at the last minute.

First a few boxes to temporary accommodation, the rest later to your permanent home. We make the follow-up deliveries from Frankfurt, with no second run from Wrocław.

Many companies pay for their employees’ first months in a furnished apartment. Your own furniture can stay with us during that time rather than in an expensive storage facility.

Moves around the region

From the warehouse we also handle moves within Germany, for example from Frankfurt to Munich or from Wiesbaden to Cologne.

The route from Wrocław and delivery time

From Wrocław we take the A4 motorway via Jędrzychowice, Dresden, Chemnitz and Erfurt as far as the Kirchheim junction, where we turn onto the A7 and then head south on the A5 to Frankfurt. That is just under 800 kilometres, about nine hours by van. Loads travel regularly between Wrocław and Frankfurt, so even a small move does not wait long for free space in a vehicle.

Who moves to Frankfurt

The city lives on finance: the headquarters of the European Central Bank, the stock exchange, banks and consultancies draw specialists from all over Europe. Then there is the airport, one of the continent’s largest transfer hubs, and the people who work there.
