Moving in Czernica
Czernica municipality begins just beyond Wrocław's eastern estates – past Swojczyce, Strachocin and Wojnow. It is flat land, criss-crossed by the Oder, its oxbow lakes and flood embankments, with villages that in recent years have filled up with detached houses. Access via embankments and narrow local roads
Czernica has no expressway running through the middle of the municipality. Most villages are reached by local roads, some running along embankments or over narrow bridges across canals. That is no obstacle for a delivery van, but it is for a large lorry – so we choose the route in advance and check weight limits. The Wrocław Eastern Ring Road has improved access from Siechnice and Długołęka, so for moves from other municipalities we don't have to drive across the whole city.
It is about 20 kilometres from the 4RELO base to the centre of Czernica. The journey usually takes 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic leaving Wrocław.
A house on a new estate or an old house in the village
New estates in Kamieniec and Dobrzykowice
Single-storey houses with attic rooms, terraced and semi-detached houses. Streets are often newly laid out, with no pavements or lighting. We plan moves so that unloading is finished before dark, because an unlit driveway is a sure way to trip while carrying a chest of drawers.
Older farmsteads and houses
In Chrzastawa, Ratowice or Nadolice, we come across houses with cellars, attics and outbuildings. As well as the move itself, we often clear out a barn or garage and take away things nobody wants to keep.
Cellars, water levels and safe storage
Residents of the riverside villages remember the 1997 flood well and know that a cellar is not the best place for furniture waiting for a new home. If there is a gap between moving out and moving in, we offer storage in a dry, locked warehouse in Wrocław. Your belongings are labelled and packed, and we bring them over on the day you specify.

When is the best time to plan a move to Czernica municipality
In spring, after the thaw and when the Oder is high, some of the roads along the embankments can be soft, and in summer traffic on the main road towards Jelcz-Laskowice builds up during commuting hours. Work goes most smoothly in autumn and mid-week. If you are getting your house from a developer, ask whether the access road is already passable for a lorry – on the new estates in Dobrzykowice, the road surface is often only finished after the last handovers.
