Machinery moving Wrocław

A machine is not a large piece of furniture. Its centre of gravity is high or off-centre, and it has delicate guideways, sensors and parts that lose their accuracy after a knock. We carry out machinery moving in Wrocław for workshops, print shops, joinery workshops, metalworking shops and service companies – both when they change premises and when a single machine bought from another company needs transporting.

What equipment we transport

Machine tools

Lathes, milling machines, pillar drills, band saws and smaller machining centres.

Woodworking machines

Panel saws, planers, edge banders and dust extractors from joinery workshops.

Printing

Printing presses, guillotines, creasing machines, plotters and laminators.

Technical equipment

Compressors, generators, control cabinets, furnaces and laboratory equipment.

Information we need for a quote

DetailsWhy we need them
Weight and dimensions of the machinechoosing the vehicle, the number of people and the lifting equipment
Operating and maintenance manuallifting points, transport locks, maximum permitted tilt
Photos of where the machine standsassessing access, thresholds and gaps between workstations
Type of floor and gateload capacity, height and width of the entrance
Access to a forklift or overhead cranewhether equipment on site can be used
Destination address and unloading conditionsloading ramp, floor level, access zone

If the weight of the machine is beyond what can be moved by hand or with the trucks available on site, we plan to use a crane or a forklift with the right capacity and include this in the quote before the date is set.

Preparing a machine for transport

  1. Taking photos and labelling the cables before disconnection.
  2. Disconnecting the power and utilities by a qualified electrician or service technician.
  3. Draining operating fluids, if the manual requires it.
  4. Fitting transport locks to tables, spindles and arms.
  5. Removing protruding parts and guards that could break.
  6. Protecting working surfaces and control panels with film and blankets.

Transport and positioning

In the vehicle, the machine stands on anti-slip mats and is strapped down at several points, so it cannot shift under braking. We choose the route with the load in mind rather than the shortest journey time – avoiding tram tracks and damaged stretches of the access roads to older halls. On site, we position the machine on the spot marked on the floor. Levelling, connection and start-up are left to the service team or the client's technicians.

A single machine or a whole plant

When moving a dozen or more machines together with stock and support areas, it is worth looking at the job more broadly – we describe this on our office relocation page. Specialist equipment with unusual requirements is discussed individually, and you will find the range of supporting work in our additional services. Every transport is carried out under a contract, with a VAT invoice and our carrier's liability insurance of up to PLN 500,000.

Machinery transport – questions

Will you transport a machine bought from another company?

Yes. We agree the date and loading conditions with both parties, and the seller prepares the machine for release.

Do we need a forklift on site?

Not always. We move lighter equipment on rollers and machine skates. For heavier machines, we agree whether to use the client's equipment or organise our own solution.

Who is responsible for calibration after the move?

The manufacturer's service team or the client's technicians. We are responsible for making sure the machine arrives in the condition in which it was handed over.

Is a photo of the rating plate enough?

It is a good start, because it gives the weight. For a full quote, we also need photos of the area around the machine and the route to the gate.

Send us your machine details for a quote

The weight, dimensions and a few photos are enough for us to propose how to transport it.
