When a basement or attic needs clearing
Renovation or pest control
The building manager sets a date by which the storage units must be empty – because of foundation waterproofing, replacement of services or rodent control.
Attic conversion
In many Wrocław tenements, attics and old drying rooms are being converted into flats. Before that, the junk collected there over the years has to be removed.
Selling a flat
The storage unit passes to the new owner and has to be handed over empty, together with the key.

Difficult working conditions
In the basements of tenements in Nadodrze or Przedmieście Świdnickie, corridors are low and winding, and there is sometimes light only at the entrance. Attics add steep wooden stairs, beams at head height and dust settled over the years. That is why we come with torches, gloves and dust masks, and carry things out in bags and crates sized to the width of the passage. Mould often appears in damp basements – we pack such items tightly so as not to spread spores into the stairwell.

Not everything in a basement is waste. Bikes, tools or furniture needing a minor repair can still be of use to someone. Before we start, we agree with you what we set aside, and the way the remaining items are disposed of – depending on their type and amount – is agreed when quoting.
A neighbour's storage unit and shared areas
In basements, storage units are often separated only by open-slatted partitions, and the corridor is shared. We only remove the contents of the unit you point out – which is why we ask for the unit number and for someone to be there to open it, or for the key to be handed over. We only take items standing in the shared corridor if the property manager confirms that they don't belong to other residents.
Clearing a basement often goes hand in hand with clearing the whole flat. Things you want to keep can go into our storage facility.

Will you clear a basement without me being there?
Yes, if we receive the key, the unit number and clear instructions on what should stay. Anything we are unsure about is set aside for you to decide.
Will you take away old paints and chemicals?
Only in sealed original containers and if you tell us in advance. Hazardous waste can only go to a point that accepts it, not into a container with furniture.
Will you carry things back in after the basement renovation?
Yes. We can carry out the contents of the unit, store them and bring them back once the work is finished.
How do you price attic clearance?
Based on photos or a survey: the amount of items, the type of waste, access via the stairs and the distance to where the vehicle can park.
