Furniture transport Poland

Not every job is a full move. Sometimes you need to take your grandmother's chest of drawers from Opole to Gdynia, a second-hand corner sofa bought in Łódź, or the furnishings for a buy-to-let flat in Kraków. We handle furniture transport across Poland from our base in Wrocław with our own vehicles – collecting from your door, securing everything for the journey and carrying it into the room, not just to the entrance.

What furniture we transport

Upholstered furniture

Sofas, corner sofas, armchairs and storage beds. We wrap them in film so the fabric doesn't pick up dust or damp, and then cover them with blankets to protect against scuffs.

Wardrobes and shelving

We dismantle large carcasses, as otherwise they won't get through the stairwell. Screws and hinges go into labelled bags, while mirrors and glass doors travel separately, upright.

Kitchen units

Wall and base cabinets, worktops and fitted units removed during a renovation. For stone or sintered stone worktops, we check the weight and how they will be secured in the vehicle in advance.

Antiques and solid wood furniture

Sideboards, writing bureaus, extending tables. Old furniture doesn't cope well with being taken apart, so we transport it in one piece, strapped down, with protective corners.

Office furniture

Desks, pedestals, filing cabinets and swivel chairs – for companies opening a branch in another city or closing one of their locations.

Unusual sizes

Pool tables, safes, large aquariums (emptied of water). We quote for each such item separately, as it needs extra people or equipment.

How we protect furniture on the road

Furniture is rarely damaged during the drive itself. Most damage happens when carrying items down the stairs and when the load shifts under braking. That is why we strap every item to the sides of the vehicle, separate pieces with blankets and position them so that nothing rests against glass fronts. When transporting furniture several hundred kilometres, this matters more than on a short trip across town – the vehicle brakes and accelerates hundreds of times.

Carrying in and assembly on site

When agreeing the price, we settle whether we leave the furniture in the hallway or place it in the right room and assemble it. With sliding wardrobes and beds with headboards, assembly is usually more sensible than leaving you with a pile of parts.

A single item or a full load

JobWhat we pay attention to
One or two items on a long routethe date – with a flexible date, it is easier to match a run in that direction
Lounge suite or bedroom setstairwell and door dimensions, whether disassembly is needed
Furnishing a buy-to-let flatthe order of carrying in and assembly in a single day
Purchase from a listing in another citycontact with the seller and the collection time
Furniture from your late parents' homechoosing what to take and clearing the rest

With a large amount of furniture and boxes, it makes more sense to book a full home move – the scope of work is then complete and the quote simpler. You can check the volume with our calculator.

Bought furniture in another city?

More and more people buy used furniture online and only after paying start wondering how to get it home. Give us the seller's address, the floor and the approximate dimensions, and we will arrange a collection time with them. Before the crew lifts the item, they will inspect it and note any visible scratches – this protects both parties on delivery. We carry out the transport under a contract with a VAT invoice, and the goods are covered by our liability insurance of up to PLN 500,000.

Furniture transport across Poland – questions

Will you transport just one wardrobe from Wrocław to Warsaw?

Yes. For a single item on a long route, we ask how flexible your date is – that makes it easier to fit the journey in, and the cost is more reasonable.

Do I have to dismantle the furniture myself before collection?

No. The crew comes with tools, takes apart whatever is needed and reassembles it on site. Just mention it when requesting a quote.

Can you collect furniture from the seller without me being there?

Yes, if you give us the seller's contact details in advance and confirm that the item has been paid for. We will send you photos before loading.

Can you carry a sofa up to the fourth floor with no lift?

Yes, as long as it fits round the turn of the stairs. That is why we ask for the sofa's dimensions and a photo of the staircase – sometimes the legs or backrest need to be removed.

How do you transport glass tabletops and mirrors?

Upright, in bubble wrap and cardboard, secured against the side of the vehicle. We never lay them flat under other furniture.

Got furniture to move?

Give us the route, dimensions and floor – we will reply with a free transport quote.
